Snow Days For two years we have not had any snow days. We have been in an El Nino, so we have gotten no snow. Because we have not used our snow days this year we should get out of school a week before school is supposed to get out, it is cheaper for the school, or we could hold off on school until eight A.M. We should get out of school a week before school actually ends. The reason I think that is because we have been in school over our limited time. Another reason I think that is because we could get more exercise in summer when we aren't all cooped up in school. When we are outside of school we could be required to read a book of our choice with at least five chapters in it. Everyone could sleep in instead of waking up at six in the morning. Everyday it is super expensive to just pay the bus drivers! MSMS is at a loss of money right now so we should cut days. My school, just like every other school, has to pay the cooks, the janitors, the bus drivers(ect.) by the hour. The pay could either go down or we could cut a couple of school days, I recommend cutting some days. That is a few reasons of what we could do to make it cheaper. Instead of those other ideas, we could hold off on school until eight AM. Why should we have to wake up at six AM when we could sleep in and then go learn. My school should hold off on school until eight AM, but we could still get out on our usual time, 2:35. We should get a little more sleep because at least 5% of the school goes to sleep at eleven or twelve PM, and only those people can change it. Those should be the upsides of holding off on school because you can sleep later and not be so tired in your first hour. Those reasons explain that we should hold off on school until eight
