The biggest youth issue I’ve seen when I was in middle school and now in high school is people trying to do anything to fit in with groups of people who they think is the popular kids in school. The things the kids do to fit in the group they must do: drugs, alcohol, fight, and kill some people. There is significant amount of teens doing drugs; there are 65% of teens doing drugs in Mobile, Alabama. And there is a significant amount of teens drinking alcohol; there are 73% of teens drinking alcohol under the age. The people who try to fit in aren’t “Being Themselves “they know there doing bad things but the till going to do it any way just be a cool kid that everybody knows. If you are a new Club Member the Staff that works at the Club will introduce you to everyone in the Club. So you won’t feel left out and lonely at the Club, it’s like a warm welcome to the Club. And make you feel like you’re part of the Club; you will make new friends easy with the kids at the Club. New kids that come to the Club always make a lot of friends. Most of the kids your age at the Club when you make friends with, you will find out that you have a lot in common such as sports, food, hobby, and favorite color. After the first day of coming to the club they will love it and tell their parents and friends about how much fun they had at the Club and then they will come the next day and the next day after that. Then then the friends they told about the club will start coming too. My vision for solving the challenge and the issue youths face is to start a program in at the Boys & Girls Club of America. The program will be called “Always Be Myself,” I want this program to be on Tuesdays during the Boys & Girls Club of America Summer Program that will be during the
