Introduction
Topic: Teenagers should not hang around family restaurants if they are going to smoke, talk loudly, and cuss.
S1: Even though the other people in the restaurants do not smoke, they are still breathing in the smoke that the teenagers are puffing out.
S2: Loud voices disturb a peaceful and quiet family environment.
S3: Cussing in front of kids is bad because you are teaching them those words.
Con: If teens are going to do those things, then stay away from a family diner.

Topic: Teens shouldn’t smoke in front of children.
S1: On top of the fact that smoking is bad for the person doing it, smoking also affects others nearby.

Topic: A tranquil and happy aura is destroyed when there are loud voices.
S1: The families that come to the restaurant expect other people there to behave as well as they are.
S2: Those teenagers are disturbing the environment and they are not even eating at the restaurant.
S3: Imagine that you came to the diner with your family after a long hard day’s of work and are greeted by teenagers screaming and using loud voices outside.
S4: I wouldn’t think that you would be very happy at all.
Con: By screaming and shouting, those teens are not helping to maintain a safe and quiet community.

Topic: If you had a child and halfway through your dinner, you heard high school kids cussing outside, would you be happy?
S1: Even though I’m a kid, I wouldn’t exactly be pleased.
S2: Hearing cuss words over and over again many times gets kids to think that everyone cusses.
S3: Sooner or later, they would start learning the meanings of the words and using the foul language themselves.
