The Civil War had many dramatical impacts on the United States as it was a war where the Struggling Confederacy went against the Union in a conflict over slavery. Slavery was a big topic around this time in the United States with news states having a majority vote and being a free or slave state. The more states that could vote for anti-slavery laws or slavery laws that encouraged cheap labor. The south wanted to protect the slavery and the idea of white supremacy which was their justification for owning slaves for so long and fighting to keep their ideals. The North wanted to keep the labor only to white labor and the abolishment of slavery in the states while the south wanted to use slavery for economic growth and political control. The civil war had its own effects between the south, north, and government that happened right after the war and stayed for a long time. The American colonies gained their own profit from the goods and slaves transported in the middle passage while they were under the control of the British Empire. Then the American revolution occurred due to all the problems that were the result of the rights of the colonies weren’t protected under British control as individual rights were violated and this later was fixed in the American constitution. After the american revolution that the american colonies fought for their independence to become the United States, this revolution helped to create the new states under the constitution. This new constitution prevented the violation of the rights of man from ever being violated, some which consisted of “No taxation without representation”, property rights, and freedom of speech.
