Introduction: Pomona City experiences various crimes exemplified by murder, rape, burglaries, theft, robbery, and assault. The trend has affected the quality of life of its residents. To be precise, the crime rate in the city is at 82%, and it is higher than the other U.S cities such as California (City-data.com, n.d.). It is evident that the daily cases that Pomona reports are 1.24 times more than those documented in California. This pattern of crime implies that the security of Pomona's citizenry has been compromised to the extent of affecting their health and quality of life (Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, 2018). To be precise, 26.8% of the city inhabitants have achieved an education level, which is below high school. In addition, those with bachelor’s degree are represented by 17.3% whereas those with an associate or college degree by 25.8%. On the other hand, the U.S has a 54.5% representation of those residents who hold bachelor degrees in different fields. Also, the State has 26.2% of its inhabitant holding associated degrees (Towncharts.com, n.d.). For religion, the Pomona residents are more affiliated with religious beliefs as compared to California and the U.S in general. To be precise, 49.4% of the residents in the U.S are religious while Pomona has 53.4% (Sperling's BestPlaces, n.d.c). To be specific, the number represented by the Catholics is 19.7% in the U.S and 36.96% in Pomona. Other Christian denominations are represented by 6.7% followers in the U.S and 5.23% in Pomona city.
