Islam spread within a span of 100 years. In 610, Muhammad made a visit to a cave on Mount Hira to pray. This experience changed his life and he realized that Allah was the one true god. After receiving Allah's words for two years, Muhammad decided it was time to talk. Soon Muhammad's teachings, called Islam, reached Europe, North Africa, and Asia.
In Document A, it states,” By the middle of the 6th century… Mecca was … prosperous and important.” Mecca is prosperous and important meaning that people would trade there often and people may travel the routes and spread the religion and since it was important, people went there tremendously so people would trade religions and praise Islam. Plus in Document C, it shows that Islam spread in the vast region through Muhammad followers. Muhammad had many followers which meant that he had a variety of people teaching Islam.
His first revelation was in 610 AD. On a night where he was in a cave near Mecca, the angel Gabriel came to him. He demanded Muhammad to read something. What he read eventually became a part of the Qur’an. From then on, Muhammad was the messenger of Allah.
Long ago, during the 7th century, there was a man named Mohammed (PBUH) who lived in a city called Mecca. One day, while he was meditating in the cave of Hira, a voice came to him and said “Proclaim!” He then starts to preach and spread the teachings of a religion known today as, Islam. As he began to teach, he started to gain followers and supporters. Eventually, after many conflicts and Mohammed’s (PBUH) death, the religion was able to spread much bigger rather than the Arabian Peninsula.
In 570, near the town of Mecca, Muhammad was born. By the time Muhammad was in his late 40’s he went on a spiritual journey. During this journey he claimed that an angel named Gabriel spoke and told him to recite his words. Muhammad recited the words and a new religion was born; Islam. The new religion flourished and spread drastically.
Islam is a religion that was established by a man named Muhammed and means ‘submission.’ As sources say, an angel approached Muhammad while he was meditating in a cave; and told him about the word of Allah, the only God. After Islam was born, and the word of the angel was the beginning of the Qur’an. Islam was established as a monotheistic religion, as Muslims would only believe in one God, and was first preached by Muhammad. Islam grew, and eventually, the first Muslim community was developed in Medina, a city in Saudi Arabia.
The spread of Islam began when the prophet Muhammad received the word of god and believed it was his obligation to spread his religion. He gained many followers but eventually dies in the city of Mecca. By that time his religion already grew at an extensive amount, and soon Muslim empires were created, which extended Islam's political and religious power. Many factors such as trade routes and the person named Mansa Musa, contributed an enormous amount to the spread of Islam throughout parts of Asia, North and West Africa, and parts of Europe. The Islamic Empires did a lot of work themselves to help spread their religion.
In the city of Mecca, a man started a new religion known as Islam. This man was Muhammad who was born in about 570 C.E. While going to pray in a cave in the mountains of Mecca, an angel named Gabriel visited Muhammad. Gabriel proclaimed that Muhammad was a prophet, messenger of God. As he received messages from God, Muhammad began to teach and recite them to others. Over time, Islam attracted new followers through military conquest, trade, and the appeal of message, which contributed to the rapid spread of Islam.

People heard what the guy Muhammad helping people, who is indeed.
Chapter 13: The expansive realm of Islam Muhammad was born in 570 CE into a distinguished family of merchants. At the age of six, Muhammad lost both his parents and was raised by his uncle. As a young man, he worked for a widow named Kadijah and eventually married her in 595. Marrying Khadija brought Muhammad some elevation in Meccan society.
Islam is one of the largest religions today and this is how Islam started. Muhammad was from Mecca which was a spiritual place for many religions. Mecca is where Muhammad began his preaching. Mount Hira was where Muhammad first realized their was one god, Allah in the year 610 CE. Muhammad was sent away in the year 622 CE and came back to Mecca in 628 CE with all of his new followers to continue preaching to other people.
That means that the Muhammad role in Islamic belief is very different from that of Jesus in Christianity. Muhammad is viewed as a Prophet or messenger while Christians consider Jesus to be the incarnation of the deity itself. Little is known about the early life of Muhammad not even his birth date. But he was born around 570CE. He traveled with Caravan and Prophethood begins when he was 40 years old.
Mohammad was one of the best known Muslims throughout the world because of how drastically he changed the Islamic belief system. He was the last prophet and taught the ways of God. He was a political and spiritual leader of the community of the city he cared for, Mecca. All of Arabia was under influence as well. He accepted the miraculous birth of Jesus but denied the divinity of Christ and rejected the Crucifixion as a Jewish falsehood.
The day Muhammad ibn Abdallah entered a cave outside the city of Mecca seeking deliberation, the start of a great empire was born. That day, Muhammad received a revelation that he soon began to share publically. He spoke of the one God, Allah, and implanted the preachings of a new religion called Islam. The Islamic empire came to impact the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe, spreading to people of distanced lands. Some of these people were willing to fight for this religion.
