Pro & Con Arguments Against School Uniforms

Ms. Clark, I know you have been thinking about uniforms for the school and I respect your opinion: but, I believe the uniforms will do more harm than good. I have looked at many websites finding many facts and statistics for and against uniforms. As I look at the different sites I keep seeing the same things over and over again. The websites keep talking about how uniforms are too expensive and restrictive. They can affect kids’ self-image and it continues to talk about how uniforms are just plain uncomfortable. Uniforms may be good in some sense, but can affect kids in big ways. Uniforms come in lots of different sizes, colors, and designs to match your specific school uniform; but the one thing they don’t come in, is cheap prices. Uniforms are very expensive especially if you have more than one kid.
