When people think of abortion, they don’t always look at the big picture. Deciding to become a parent is a very serious and life-changing choice that must be given lots of thought and consideration. Even though it can be difficult to see eye to eye with those around us, we must all consider the future of the mother carrying the fetus, and the future of the unborn child as well, which could be good or bad. The two sides of abortion, pro-life and pro-choice, both have their ups and downs, such as another child that is able to be put up for adoption versus another child contributing to overpopulation. However, it is important to consider the value of human life. Pro-life eliminates the immoral decision to end the life of an unborn child, allowing the parents to deal with the consequences of their actions, and can also bring children into the homes of couples who are unable to conceive. …show more content…

They have their constitutional rights, but we never really stop to consider a fetus’ rights because the child has yet to been born. The child has yet to make an impression on our lives, and that's why most women don't think twice about getting “rid of” him/her. Do we really have the right to take the life of an innocent human being who has yet to have a chance to live or to debate on whether they get to live or die? Abortion, in many people's eyes, can be seen as murder. In this way, one is killing an innocent child and not allowing him/her to have a chance to life. Another question to consider is if the unborn child really has any rights at all? Does a child, even if unborn, have any basic human rights? We all have the right to life so, why should an unborn innocent child be the exception? Is it moral to say that we have the right to choose the life/death of a child we have created?
