Recommended: The importance of standardized tests

I believe that standardized testing is an amazing thing that we should continue to use but we should improve upon.Here are a couple different reasons why I believe we should continue testing. It helps measure improvement and what people need to improve upon, depending on how the test was formed and the thought process behind the test it can be useful for teacher evaluations, for my final reason why I'm pro standardized testing is the test can help evaluate the curriculum and show us if we need to enhance our curriculum.

The first reason I'm pro standardized testing is It can help measure improvement and if we need to have specific children improve on different things and how we can help them.The test will show if students keep making the same mistakes year after year and how to help them.If one grade suddenly improve then we know we are doing something correct with that grade so we can look at what we did right and try to improve the test for everyone. .That would be my first of many reasons I have in mind. …show more content…

They assist in evaluating if a teacher is doing their job correctly if the test is used and assembled properly. You can compare the different scores to aid in analyzing if the teacher is doing their job correctly. If one subject has a higher grade than the others then it tells you that the teacher for that subject is doing their job correctly.You can use this data as well as the data from the actual grades of the student to evaluate if a teacher is giving the correct information.There is the second reason i believe that we should be pro standardized
