Moreover, I have attempted to live my life in the same manner. At an early age, I learned the importance of academic excellence, integrity, leadership, and community service. My goals here at Alcorn include a BS in Elementary Education. I believe that this will help me give back to my community, improve my school district and become a better, well-rounded
I have always wanted to help people and to help them better their lives, but I never could figure out how I could make that passion a reality, until the day I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety at age eleven. After that rough period in life, I learned how I could help other people. I could listen to them and try to help them better understand themselves. Life is much easier for a person when they have people who believe in them like a psychologist or therapist. My college plan would be to earn a bachelor, and master degree in Psychology to become a Behavior Analyst.
Many goals of mine manifest in education. Providing myself opportunities to
Spannagel Career Objectives For the past twelve years as I have worked within the field of education my long-term goal has not changed. My desire is for every single student that I am responsible for to flourish. My dream for them is that they see no limits in their future and their school experience provides them with all the tools they will need to become active citizens. Having worked with hundreds of secondary students through my work as a teacher, instructional leader, administrator, and national instructional coach, I have come to realize the important fact that kids are kids.
Although all the learning goals are important, the two that are mainly important to me and my personal goals, are the goals of Knowledge: Depth and Breadth and Communication. As an elementary teacher, my goal is to be the best possible teacher I can be, and to be confident in myself to teach my students. Because of this, the learning goal of Knowledge: Depth and Breadth, is immensely important to me on account that the goal focuses on a student being able to master the knowledge in their major. Secondly, the learning goal of communication is also important to me seeing that I not only need to be able to communicate efficiently with my students, but with parents and other staff members as well. Likewise, I would be articulate my ideas and beliefs in a way that is not confusing, therefore improving my communication
First off, I am humbled to be considered for membership of the National Honor Society. In my opinion on the foundation of the four pillars of NHS the FPC NHS chapter will benefit from my membership because I will bring intellect, drive, leadership, character, dedication to serve my community, honesty, respect, pride, discipline, compassion and among many other qualities a sense of humor. As an active member of my school and community I work hard to serve not just myself but those around me. I am an active volunteer throughout Flagler County as previously stated. I am a teenage volunteer at the Florida Hospital Flagler.
All skills apart from the academic ones which are important to being a good teacher and demonstrates my willingness to go the extra mile. Studying and working in education has shown me that it is a challenging and rewarding career, but I believe my track record of dedication and hard work in both elements suggests that I can meet its demands. My commitment to providing a first-rate education for any child has seen me strive to gain as many additionally useful skills as
Life has its twists and turns, but my overall life goal is simple, help others. I want to make an impact on others life, even if it is a small change. For instance, being able to hold a pencil is the difference between a student being able to graduate from Kindergarten and not be able to continue on to first grade. Being a Pediatric occupational therapist will help me make an impact on children at a very young age. Even small changes can have a large impacts, which is why I want to be that change for others.
When I graduate highschool and eventually college, I want to become a preschool teacher. Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” I want to teach the children to be curious about everything, help introduce them to the world, and to be an important part in every kid’s life. I love working with little children. I want to help them along a little bit in their lives.
My goal is to become a college counselor. I want to guide students to their career paths, by helping them discover their own talents, self-interests, and limitations. With these tools, students will be able to utilize the resources around them. Also, I plan to give assistance to those students that are considered a minority and are the first generations going to college.
My vision for the teaching profession as a whole is to instill a desire to learn within my students. This learning process is not just consist of academic content but includes the content of using good morals, being positive, persistent, and other characteristics to help one to be successful in society and fulfilling their life’s purpose. This will then continue the cycle of creating other successful learners and a successful
Though, I would love to get my bachelor’s in early Childhood. I will also like to take special education with ASL. My dream is to be a preschool educator with hearing and deaf students. I think a variety will help the children understand each other. I may also help hearing students learn basic sign language.
The Profession of Social Work as a Career Goal Graduating from high school, I have always had a passion working with kids. I never put into thought exactly what I wanted to do with kids, all I knew was that I wanted to work with kids. At first, my career choice was to become a midwife. There were several complications down the road, in which I could no longer pursue that career choice.
My goals for the future are to improve my ability to differentiate lessons and my ability identify students with special needs. I look forward to improving as a teacher of students with
I want to teach so that I can create an inclusive classroom environment that is perfect for learning. My goal is to get students excited to learn. I will accommodate to all of my students according to their individual needs. I aspire to be a teacher who respects their students and gets respect back.
