Have you ever wondered what the pros and cons of gun control are? 89% of people in the US own a firearm. Over time gun laws have been changed because people argue that laws should be stricter. Stricter gun laws would cause less shootings, less unsafe people to get guns, less mass shootings, but less strict laws may, not stop people from getting guns, use other weapons to kill, you cannot protect yourself.
99% of amendments were based on the information provided by people. The suicide rate has gone up, more accidents and stray bullets, citizens are able to defend themselves with guns, increase in crimes involving alternative weapons, supply and demand will increase in black markets, there will be less shootings, “guns have changed, but laws have not, people who are crazy shouldn't be able to get there hands on a gun.” …show more content…

Many people believe that it is the guns that kill people, it is the people who own the gun and who pulled the trigger. People should be able to own guns but unsafe people should not be able to get there hands on a gun.
There needs to be laws put in that there has to have stricter background checks and if you have been in prison for anything, you should not be able to get a gun. They just put at risk of being killed or there family being killed . The Second Amendment states, “The right of people to bear arms” meaning that anyone that wants to own a gun can and if there protecting themselves they can shot someone. More gun control means less deaths in America, if the government was more stricker there would be less deaths. Some laws that should be put in place are, hunters safety required until 18 years
