Psychologist have many filed you can choose as a career path way. I want to do so much with my degree and help as much children I can. I was stuck between clinical, behavioral and counselling psychology because with them I could learn, teach, and analyst. I want to be able to deal with young foster children and learn their behavioral an also help them change the negative ones. I grew up in a foster care and had so much new things thought to me. I picked up negative and positive behavioral from the environment I was in. I had a lot of personal problem going on that I didn’t know how to cope with it. My social worker assigned me therapist so I could be open with. I didn’t open to none of them until the second year trying again. That’s when I met Ms. Wendy Joseph a personality psychologist. I been working in the social work/psychologist field for about 11 years now. What challenges do you face as a personality psychologist? The challenges I face would be getting too attach. I love my job so that mean I get really involve and hands on. My goal is not to do a job but to get to know this person so I could help with their behavioral or misunderstanding in life I chose to be a personality psychologist just like Ms. Wendy Joseph because it helps me grow and understand myself. I became open minded to life and my behavior. I want to use my personal experience to helps kids in foster care who is struggling with behavioral problem to have a friend (personality psychologist) like myself and open up to me so we could together figure out how to move pass the problem. I have a lot of work to do to get where I need to be and I plan on attainting my career goal by completing my bachelor degree and apply for Florida International University Clinical Science Graduate program.
