Forensic Psychologist Career Goals

My main career goal is to become one of the most renown Forensic Psychologist, or at least just a Forensic Psychologist. I want to be able to assist in victim recovery and place true perpetrators in jail and rehabilitate them. It saddens me to read and hear news about abuse, especially when it involves children. Being a Forensic Psychologist, I could help them recover from their traumatic experience and move on with what life has to offer them. I, as well, could put criminals in prison and aid them to become a better person by creating a suitable program for them. However, before I accomplish my prime goal in life and helping people, I would have to start from somewhere small. After accomplishing my Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science within three years, I still want to continue expanding my knowledge through education. I strongly believe that the Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration at Point Park University is a great asset for me to obtain. It will help me broaden and deepen my comprehension in the criminal justice field. As a Point Park alumna, I have immensely enjoyed my forensic and criminal justice classes. I relish the small classes that enable me to have one on one connections with my professors. The Criminal Justice and Intelligence Administration is equipped with the best professors given by their knowledge and background in the criminal justice field. The classes are challenging, but they are knowledge worthy. Some classes that I love taking were Forensic Evidence, Criminal Profiling, and death investigation classes.
