I have chosen this career to research because I am extremely interested in helping other people find their dream home at a reasonable price. In this career, there are multiple skills needed, such as good communication skills, honesty, being goal ordinated, as well as having marketable manners. Next, you must pass a written exam and be at least 18 years old. In most states, you must also complete a training program in real estate. Many colleges and vocational schools offer these programs. They often consist of 30 to 90 hours of instruction. Real estate agents also have to understand legal issues related to buying and selling properties. You also need to be familiar with the process of getting a loan. A degree in a related subject such as business or marketing, is usually accepted as well. The cost of the training for real estate at Dodge City Community College consists of $1,410 for tuition $1,800 in fees, and $1,200 for books. Which makes a grand total of $4,410.
