Self-assessment and reflection are inevitable to be able to grow into a great leader. As a new grad, it is important to reflect and look back on the skills the individual has to bring to the table. It is so important to review and look over their strengths, weaknesses, and values. This allows for personal growth and companionship with others. When an individual is so aware of their leadership style they are able to change and shape it accordingly and be able to adapt to any environment. It has brought to light some of the areas that need to be worked on. It has also brought up some of the attributes that the author excels at. The author has learned that her emotional intelligence is high and she excels in under pressure situations. The values assessment shed some great insight on what is really important to the author it was quite surprising to her. She realized that diversity is not her strong suit and she needs to research more and be able to understand other beliefs and religion and take them into consideration.
