Reflection Paper On Going To MGCCC For Nursing Education

I plan on going to MGCCC for my basic education on nursing. When I get done with my basic I want to go to a four year college and i want to get my degree for Obstetrics and gynaecology. I plan on having my own small house and having a job at the hospital. I think if I work hard I can get my five year plan done. It will be hard because of work and school at same time , but I think I can do it. Of course, everyone might have a plan , but what people might not think about are the things that might get in the way. One barrier I think might get in way of my plans is maybe college is not for me. Another barrier is , what if I do not like what I want become? The last barrier , and I think this might be the biggest one , is money. Anything can get in your way if you let it , but somethings you can not help it.

First, I could be making good grades to make sure I can get into the college I want to . Second, I could try to make the highest ACT score I can so it can help me get into college. Also , I could start applying and talking with MGCCC about what I need to take to become an Ob/Gyn. Lastly , I could go and talk to the hospital about getting a job there. The person I talked to is someone who has helped me alot the past two years. Ms. Fairley is a really good person. When I was talking to her about my plan she told me I had really thought about what I needed to do and what could get in the way. She told me that money would probably be the biggest thing to get in my way. She told me, “ You have a good, well thought out plan ,but it would be a good idea to make a small list of goals to help you along the way.” I think making small goals was a great idea, something I can do to make me feel good when I am
