Statement Of Purpose To Become An AVID Student

In the Winston-Salem State University, the passing rate in the Division of Nursing, has increased from 84 to 94% as of 2017. I feel this number can go even higher than ever, and I hope you would consider me to be a part of this. I feel that I could not only pass college, but I could be in the top of the class. Before anything else, I still have to get through the rest of high school. I will also need to clearly identify what I want to do for my career. While doing all this I will still have to work on my self to be the better goal achiever! If you would, take some time to acknowledge my goals and why I should be given a chance. I wish to go through high school with all A’s and B’s. Right now with this goal I am on the correct track. I say this because for starters I'm in AVID, and I know these classes are not too hard

One of my goals that I wish to accomplish in college is to graduate. I am already getting good grades, and I am an AVID student. Being an AVID student, I research college, gain awareness on careers, learn what it takes to get to college etc. Some things that I could do to promote this goal could be, getting into clubs, and get into study groups. I would like to do study groups because it's kind of like tutors but they are more like students in your class maybe even having the same problem as you. When I get to college, I want to study to be a Nurse practitioner. The more formal term would be Doctor in Nursing Practice. I wish to do a full time study plan and maybe do some advanced or online classes. One of the classes I know I will take is Healthcare Quality.
