This semester I also learned how to word rules with right way more and how to be specific with procedures. I made a mock classroom policy about a year ago and after that lesson I made modifications to it. I got excited because it was part of our discipline 2, and I got more feedback on which I need another eye to look at for me. I took the comments and made more to policy and proud of my end product.
How have I improved as a writer? I never considered myself as a strong writer. I was ashamed to share my writings with others because I was scared to show my poor writing skills. I saw my language background as a barrier that stopped me from improving.
As a student in class I felt like I did really well. I really enjoyed the class, and learned something new every time. If I could change anything I would try to be more interactive in class and participate more. Also, I would have spent more time really looking into the different writing processes to really attack the writing style. Overall, I enjoyed the class and enjoy writing a lot more than I did
I chose the simple task of writing my name five times consecutively. This activity was easy enough to complete, however it was very difficult to get consistent quality each time I wrote my name. At first I was able to write with ease while doing the task normally and with one eye covered. Although there was a subtle difference between normal and one eye. Normally my letters are spaced evenly however, when one eye was covered, some of my letters became connected by lines from the previous letter.

I also learned that I need to look for grammar and formatting. What I have learned about public speaking is that I have good speaking manner, but I need to slow down as I present and not to get ahead of myself. Also, to make sure my PowerPoint is a bit more engaging and organized.

What does writing mean to me? Writing means getting people engaged in your piece. It means people wanting to keep reading what you wrote. The biggest thing about writing to me is expressing your thoughts and letting your mind go. Using good word choice and having a strong voice in the writing is something that makes it good.
