Regent University Mission Statement

College always seemed to be on my life’s road map. It was never a matter of if I would go, but rather when I would go; what subject would I devote my time to studying and most importantly, which institute would I decide to attend. Regent University, so I have read, “was founded on biblical principles to make a significant difference in our world”. Their mission statement rings true by the testimony given to me by a couple of coworkers that attend Regent and only have the best reports to give. I look forward to joining the Regent family and expanding my mental and spiritual horizons. I have always had an interest in the ministry of Jesus Christ. I grew up in a Christian church as a child and when I was 19 I was ordained as a minister of the gospel. I never want to stop growing and maturing in the word of God. I seek to take advantage of Regent University’s in-depth understanding of the Old and New Testament. I am looking forward to taking my theological studies to a brand-new level. When I teach the word, I have always wanted to not only relate on a spiritual level, but on a physical, geographical, and historical level as well. …show more content…

It is the most common way to teach or convey a point of view. Many times, I have listened to people attempt to speak to a crowd but they struggle to get their ideas to proceed out of their mouths as smoothly as they would like. It is a shame to have so much positive and profitable information stored, with a difficulty of being able to express oneself. I would like to sharpen my public speaking skills.
