The play Romeo and Juliet tells the story of two forbidden lovers who died an inevitable death. The tale of these two lovers takes place around the late 1500’s. In the play, Romeo was a Montague while Juliet was a Capulet. The two families, as stated in the play, were in the middle of a feud fueled by lifelong hatred. In the end of the play Romeo and Juliet both took their own lives. Many people argue over why they both died, was it Fate or Free-Will? The death of Romeo and Juliet was due to fate. After, Romeo saw that Juliet was “dead” he realized that he could not live without her, so he poisoned himself and died. Juliet sees Romeo dead beside her, and realizes that he has been poisoned.
