The dramatic play Romeo and Juliet By William Shakespeare is a playwright telling a story about two families who hate each other whos kids love each other but, are star crossed lovers who were never meant to be with each other tried to escape fate from holding them back for loving each other but things take a toll and both eventually die at the end of the play. What I am trying to prove is that one of the characters contributed to the Death of Romeo and Juliet is Benvolio Romeo’s cousin. What is happening at this point in time is Romeo is depressed and is in love with a girl named Rosaline who he has feelings for but she doesn’t for him , meaning it’s a fake love. This is when Benvolio comes and tries to make things better by getting Romeo to come to a party at the Capulet mansion who has beef with Romeo’s family and Benvolio says “At this ancient feast of Capulet's Sups the fair Rosaline whom thou so loves with all the admired beauties of Verona. After the encounter with Juliet Romeo gets married to Juliet and is very happy but Tybalt who is Juliet's cousin and a great swordsman is willing to duel Romeo, Romeo doesn’t want to so Mercutio Romeo's friend Protects his honor and duels but Mercutio dies and then Tybalt dies from Romeo. Little later on Benvolio is questioned by the prince to say what happened because he was there also.
