TPS: Who is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet TS:There are many characters who come to mind when asking this question and i believe there are 3 main ones when it comes to this question, CD:Friar Lawrence comes up with the plan for Juliet to fake her death for 24 hours CM:While he created this plan with good intentions this then ends up failing as the messenger that was to inform Romeo about the plan never reached him and told him in time, resulting in the death of Romeo as he kills himself after finding Juliet ``dead”. CM:This plan then also results in the death of Juliet as she also commits suicide after discovering her lovers dead body who had killed himself moments before with the vial of poison he had purchased.In conclusion Friar lawrence did have good intentions, but how he acted on them, although not intentional, ultimately led to the death of Romeo and Juliet …show more content…
CM:With the death of Mercutio, Romeo seeked revenge and killed Tybalt which ended in him getting banished from the city of Verona making things even worse as now it would be very difficult for Romeo and Juliet to see each other causing them to make drastic decisions which would ultimately lead to their deaths. CD: The Capulets forcing Juliet to marry Paris and their feud with The Montagues CM:The Capulets like Tybalt are not solely to blame in their deaths yet they largely contributed in this fact, as Lord Capulet was very rude to his daughter calling her worthless, even threatening her to marry Paris as if she were to refuse she should never show her face or call him her father, simply disowning her as well as her
