Brave, strong, and hard-worker are three things that describe Rosa Parks. Although many people know Rosa Parks as the person who started the end of segregation by refusing to get up on the bus for a white person but she is so much more. As a well known seamstress, Rosa Parks inspired the world to take a stand for what they believe in, or what they think is right. She left a lasting legacy as the person who started the bus boycott and the beginning of the Civil Rights Movement and changed the world.

Her mom inspired her to stand up for herself and face her fears, and that is why she was motivated. Rosa Parks and her mom had a lot of southern hospitality to everyone since her mom taught her to be nice to everyone. She later met a man, named Raymond Parks, who was her husband, and also the only person she would talk to about segregation. (Hull 24) She had a wonderful family and wonderful friends, except some haters.
Parks had a great life, except for some problems or ethics she faced along the way. Rosa Parks had to drop out of high school to take care of her dying Grandma, so she was behind on education when she went back to school. (New York Times, web) She also had to drop out a second time to help her mom, but that didn’t stop her from going back to school after to finish her education. Rosa Parks had to clean every classroom everyday just to get a scholarship, even though she was smart enough to get one without all the cleaning. This just shows how hard life was for people of her

Rosa Parks worked for many white people and she hated it, every day to her it felt like she was a slave. She was really disappointed because she went to school for many years, and then was told she couldn’t be whatever she wanted to, she had little options. She got her high school degree in 4 years so she could be something great, and it turns out she ended up being a seamstress. (History.com, web) Rosa Parks was a very hard worker and an amazing contribution to society.
Rosa Parks had a big impact on the world, in everything she did. What she did was refuse to stand up for a white man on the bus because she was tired after a long day of work and she would rather sit in the white section then stand in the black. (Rosa) Just that one small step she made changed the world for the better.
Parks faced a lot after what she did, good and bad. The bus driver was so mad she refused to get up he drove straight to the police station to have her arrested. She had to do many years of jail time after that. Rosa Parks started the Bus Boycott and the Civil Rights Movement. Parks was considered the “mother” of Civil Rights, and looked up to by many people.
