Have you ever thought about how Rosa Parks made a difference in our daily lives? Rosa Parks is the reason why we don’t have a segregated world. Rosa Parks is one of the strongest advocates for African-American civil rights in history. Rosa Parks fought for herself and her race’s freedom, and she let all races know how important civil rights are. I believe Rosa Parks was the most courageous female activist of the 20th century.

The author shows how Rosa Parks refused to give in and help inspire the bus boycott that helped overthrow segregation. “...bus driver told Parks that he would call the police and have her arrested if she did not move. Rosa Parks was a hero because she knew what she had to do to change her life and African-Americans’ lives for the better. She knew already before of what to do to be a hero, and she perfectly executed her civil disobedience act. Rosa Parks knew what the risks were, but stood up anyways for her freedom.
