Like other products in the marketplace, there are threats and challenges for the salesforce. At this moment, the biggest challenges for the salesforce is that EvaDrop is in its final stages of manufacturing. There is no product testing available yet for the public. Therefore, it is more difficult to capture a public's interest and hard to predict consumer acceptance of the product. Furthermore, there are similar products that are already for sales on the market. U by Moen is one of EvaDrop biggest competitors. It is a digital shower that allows users to control their showers by using voice activation, phone application, and controller. Customers may go to the competition for their needs and decide that the competitor is a better bet overall. By the time EvaDrop is ready to purchase, the customers might already forget about the product. If that happens, the company has to redo all the marketing efforts again, which would be costly to the company. Another challenge that the salesforce could possibly face is when the the company decides to grow outside the domestic market. Recruiting a global sales force can be a huge challenge. The challenges including determining the appropriate qualities, ability to address cultural differences, and language/culture barrier. The salesforce needs to be innovative in bridging the cultural gap. The team has to understand and embrace ethnic customs, adapt selling approaches to each group of customers, and portray genuine interest in cultural differences.
