Students that have been a part of National Honor Society at Robert Vela High School have become outstanding individuals and have shown selflessness and a desire to aid their community in any way possible. It is because of this that it would be an honor to follow in the footsteps of those before me and continue to do service that will help my community and my school. National Honor Society is an organization that I feel will really help me to continue to develop my character, leadership skills, and assist in my overall growth as an honorable young adult. Being a part of NHS will open doors that will allow me to reach my highest potential while becoming a better and more charitable person. I am a dedicated and hardworking student and I strive to be my best everyday. I apply one hundred percent of myself to everything I do in and out of the classroom. I love seeing the people around me succeed, because of this I often find myself going above and beyond to help my peers whenever they need help with their school work or extra-circulars.
