The world we live in today is congested with agony and adversity. So the enactment of directive order is crucial. Without rules and regulations, issues would immense miserably and eventually become plagued. The field of Criminal Justice pursues authority and seeks peace along with control. The Criminal Justice course of study involves many subjects that are essential to be successfully enlightened in the educational path.
Melodies of Marijuana Music has been used as a tool to reflect culture for a majority of history. Music has been used for Christian worship for hundreds of years. During the civil rights movement, music was used to fight for justice and present the views of groups such as The Black Panthers (Phillips, 1). Since the late 1960’s, it is arguable that drug culture has been recorded through music as well. Songs such as the Beatles’ original “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds” rose to popularity, discussing drug abuse and capturing the essence of narcotics like marijuana and LSD (Rettman, 3).
"I feel so enlightened and content". You are likely to hear this phrase from a high number of people using drugs. Many of them guarantee a feeling of satisfaction and distraction. Who would object to experience that? With this in mind, having great promise, teenagers and young adults are the ones who are highly prone to be influenced by the drug trend.
Can we really see thousands of Americans die because they are so interested in trying a new drug? Drugs should really not be legalized anywhere around the world because it will depend on the type of drug people use, it will ruin their body, they can do so many things to people that they won’t be the same person anymore because of the drugs are taking over them. Nevertheless, the government should not go and make drugs legal because drugs is not the answer to anything and it’s not the answer to solving any problem. Here is why: Drugs can absolutely kill people.
War on Drugs President Nixon declared “War on Drugs” in 1971. Since that moment it has been a back and forth battle as to whether or not drugs should be decriminalized. Because of this the number of people behind bars for nonviolent drug law offenses increased from 50,000 in 1980 to over 400,000 by 1997. Some argue that there is not enough being done, while others think to much is being done and that we as nation need to change the way we combat this ever growing issue. As of today the drug industry is a multi-billion dollar operation.
U.S. states raising billions of dollars on the basis of tax revenue of marijuana could be put towards good use. Each state struggles with underfunded programs, jobs that make too much, and jobs that should make more. With increases in revenue, states could afford to fund their underfunded programs or better fulfil their duties. A good example of this are road treatment and handling; this is a responsibility for each individual state. If one were to drive from Missouri to Illinois, they would notice a difference in the road conditions.
Have you wonder how you get drug addiction, obviously, by taking drugs. But what if there was more to drug addiction than you think. Around 24.6 mill people uses drugs and 22 mill uses illegal drugs. In this article I’ll be talking about teens and kids with drug problems, why states are not regulating drug abuse properly, and why drug users are being casted from society. Drug users should not be looked at differently in society.

It is very difficult to explain that drug addiction is a disease rather than a choice. Understanding drug addiction and why it happens will break the stigma of addiction. Society has associated the use of marijuana with drug addiction and with that it brings to mind negative things. Drugs users should be treated, not belittled for their use of drugs or having a drug addiction. Addiction is defined as a condition in which a person engages in use of a substance or in a behavior for which the rewarding effects provide a compelling incentive to repeatedly pursue the behavior despite detrimental consequences.
With the development of our nation and society, our living standards have improved much. However, through the news, we can know that an increasing number of citizens begin to take illicit drug which really bring us bad effects. So our government has no choice but to make laws and policies to decrease this kind of phenomenon. However, not every citizen is willing to follow the policies, so people are divided into two groups. One group of people resolutely resist illegal drugs, another group of people still steal secretly.
In the name of fighting drug abuse, governments unleashed a war on drugs that continues to rage today. Drugs have numerous negative consequences that can result from an addiction, but some can have positive effects when used appropriately and under the care of a healthcare professional. The War on Drugs is a government-led initiative aimed at stopping illegal drug use, distribution, and trade by issuing increased prison sentences for drug-related offenses, and it increased federal funding for drug-control agencies and treatment efforts. Instead, it has resulted in a disproportionate amount of incarcerations of minorities.
While there are heroin epidemics all around the country, I do not believe there to be one in my community. That is to say, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t tackle areas with widespread drug usage. I believe we can start combatting heroin usage by learning about the dangers from an earlier age. Drug prevention programs should be more heavily integrated into schools from elementary and into college. For some teens, they are not educated about the dangers of heroin and how it can change your life permanently.
Drugs are the dangerous substances that will destroy the consumer both physically and mentally; therefore, it is necessary to determine these substances restrictively. In order to do that, I am strongly assuring that the drugs should be legalized. There are three main reasons why the drugs should be legalized: diminution of crime rates, health guarantee, and extending of drugs regulation. Drugs are one of the crime sources, although not by the drugs, itself, but the condition. Illegal drugs are rare products that could not be found in the normal market, the cost for its rarity is totally expensive.

Some people believe that marijuana should be legalized, while the rest feel should stay prohibited. Proponents of marijuana argue that there are numerous medical benefits and that the drug is not more harmful than tobacco or alcohol. On the other hand, opponents argue that marijuana is too dangerous; its legalization would increase the chances of the drug falling into the hands of teens and that marijuana use often progresses to the use of more dangerous drugs like heroin and cocaine.
