Please cite the sources used to support your response. A scholarly discussion in an online environment allows for a unique portal in which peers can discuss topics at an intellectual level. Scholarly discussions differs from social network in many ways starting with the use of proper netiquette, the intended target population, and the use of information to validate such response. In social networks people interact at a comfortable level communicating without using proper grammar and abbreviating phrases. In a scholarly discussion people communicate using proper netiquette and conducting themselves at professional level by using correct grammar. For every role we play in life obligations must be met, it is very easy to get distracted and misuse free time that can be used to read, study, or login to class. My role as a mother comes with multiple distractions pulling my attention in different directions, but if I stay focus and can meet my children's needs then I can focus on my responsibilities to school. Although learning happens in an online setting it can cause procrastination due to the availability of the classroom from home. This can be easily misinterpreted as no need to attend class because there is no need to drive to a classroom, but time must be taken to login to school and complete school
