The prison system in the USA is very flawed and functions as a way for racists to torture people, and the story “Just Mercy” is an excellent example. Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson is a true story about the wrongfully accused and about the terrible system functioning on racism and torture. In his memoir, Bryan Stevenson uses literary nonfiction strategies to reinforce his argument that “the criminal justice system can do a better job of respecting the humanity and dignity of all people.” The descriptive settings help to really show the torture and mistreatment, furthering his argument.

(U) The battle for Suomussalmi in the Russo-Finnish War of 1939 to 1940 was one of the most significant battles illustrating the practical use of Motti tactics. On December 7th, 1939 the battle began and lasted till the 8th of January, 1940 concluding in a decisive Finnish victory. Taking place towards the beginning of the Second World War, the battle placed two vastly different powers against each other, Finland and the Soviet Union. One being that of a fledgling nation barely independent from the recently disposed Imperial Russia, the other a mighty superpower capable of engulfing entire nations. The latter nation, known for its aggression, and use of any methods at its disposal to fulfil the goal of the grand leader.

Since the start of the slasher genre, it seems that about all have the same storyline. A masked maniac stalking a group of clueless white adolescence friends. In the group you have the shy terrified final girl, the attractive blonde girl with two brain cells, the socially awkward nerd, ignorant jock and the goofy try hard friend. Seems that all slasher films have the same ending. Where the killer and the final girl are faced to faced and the killer reveals his face.
People have hard, unsafe drugs to escape from the problems they face in their daily life. Many kids suffer from depression as do adults and others that have gone through a lot in their life. And I know that many of them haven’t felt content in a long time, with a lot on their minds. Kids are a particularly relatable topic to this because many children go through a lot in their life, early in their life. My question is, “When should one be able to take a medication as serious as one like Psychamine.”
Behind the Eyes of a Persuasive Seeker Presidential campaign advertisements seem to attract audiences with different political ideals. On Jeb2016.com, Jeb Bush has placed an ad where he attempts to convince an audience of military members, and younger voters that Bush is the safer candidate, stronger, and more able. Bush’s ad hit home with two audiences in one ad, using patriotic words to send positive messages that Bush is good for young people but more importantly for the military. The ad conveys positive support for military members and includes many young military males, who express positive facial and body language towards the candidate. The layout is appealing to the southern voter, while engaging and or persuading the intended audience that Bush is a strong leader.

My worldview is that we have not been given this planet as a resource, but that we are a part of a larger ecosystem. We may be an intelligent species that has creating a way of life different from all other species; however, every creature has the same rights and value as any other. A human being is not worth more than a wolf, a fish, or a tree, simply because we have developed out way of life into a more complex manner. I view humans as a predator, one that given out current technology and knowledge, is at the top of the food chain. This does not make us more important than the species we live with.
