Abortion should be illegal

Abortion is the murder of an innocent child. If murder is illegal, why shouldn’t abortion be illegal also? Just because the child has not been born yet does not mean that it is not alive and cannot feel anything. At the moment of fertilization the baby is alive. Abortion takes an innocent life, and can be extremely dangerous. You can die from having an abortion or develop serious side effects that may require you to have surgery. There are a lot verses in the Bible that insist that abortion is wicked and wrong. Depending on how far along in a pregnancy the woman’s fetus can feel pain while the abortion is being performed. There are two different types of abortion. The first, and most common type, is called a medical abortion or the abortion pill. The side effects of taking the abortion pill include: bleeding, cramping, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and feeling feverish. The risks of taking the abortion pill include: allergic reaction, incomplete abortion (which can cause sepsis), infection, blood clots, heavy bleeding, or even death.
The other type is called an in-clinic abortion. The symptoms and risks are usually the same as the abortion pill but, by having an in-clinic abortion you also have the risk of injury to the cervix or other organs that could be punctured by the instruments that are used during the abortion.

Abortion can cause emotional and psychological problems. Some women feel relief after having an abortion and their lives return to normal. But, in some cases, months or even years after having the abortion a woman can develop problems with their emotional and physical health. Abortion can be related with clinical depression, drug and alcohol abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and even suicide.
