Small Group Ministry Paper

We will be creating a small group ministry for the church. At City of Refuge Church, we promote to educate, enrich, and empower the church and the community. The small group will promote people being apprentices of Jesus Christ. We will look at the target audience. We will discuss the “fruit” that is expected to see. Small group will need are people willing to serve God’s plans. We all will work towards the vision and mission of the church. We will meet to first learn about each other and discover how we will all work together to benefit the church. Then, we will create a vision board to make sure we know the area where we need extra support and the area that we are strong in. We all will work on plans on how to be visual in the community

For the youth under the age of eighteen, there will be praise dance and miming. They will be required to maintain good grades in school. They will learn to pray for others and basic for being God’s soldier. The leader will be responsible for minister to them during practice. The leader will teach the meaning of the song that they will be using during practice. For the adult, we will have single group, marriage group, and senior group. The single group will encourage each other to stay in the word and keep holy till the right person comes along. They will find activities that they can do together such as shopping, going to the movies, and helping in the community. The marriage group will focus on how to keep God as third string in the marriage, how to keep happy marriage, and help in the community. The senior group are the elders in the church. They need fun activities to keep them occupied, such as walking in the mall, visiting other seniors in nursing home, educating the youth about history, and helping in the community. The deacons and deaconess will be responsible for ministering to the sick and shut in. The hospitality ministry and street ministry will be made up of any that is interested. The hospitality group will be responsible for decorating and serving the food during the fifth Sunday fellowship. After the youth, which is under children that are seventh grade and under, are serve they are to serve the visitors before the church member. The street ministry are the warriors ready to take the ministry to the street. They are to go out in pairs just like Jesus sent the disciples in pair. They will meet the community offer to pray for the people, seeing how the church can help them in their daily life, while providing helpful resources for
