First, I believe by obtaining my Master in Theology from Liberty University it has helped me develop a stronger and deeper understanding of God’s word. My studies at Liberty have set me up for success in the Doctorate Program at Liberty. Liberty seminary staff has very knowledge staff and motivates their students to excel in their studies and gain a full understanding God’s word. The instructors at the Rawley’s Seminary school has a great depth of knowledge and wants the seminary students to gain a deeper understanding of God’s word to be able to minster to other people around the world. We need strong Christian based teachers to educate not only the Churches, but the entire world on why we need to believe in our living God.
The Oklahoma FFA Association has played a major role in my life. From the day I walked into my high school 's Ag room, I fell in love with the organization. I have always dreamt of becoming a state officer, and leading thousands of others. Because I am a senior this year, I am finally eligible to run for a state office position. Beginning in February, I will campaign and prepare so that I can hopefully be elected for a position this coming May.
A School where you are surrounded by people of all ages, you are taught by real college professors and have to take responsibility for yourself. This was a huge step for me, along the way I fumbled and sort of slipped of track, but my devotion for my dream of attending college and entering the health profession pulled me right back on tract. My whole life I have been devoted to education and striving to do better. My strive for bettering myself and reaching my goals and dreams will never stop, no matter
Why I Want to Attend the Air Force Academy My goal in life has always been to serve my country as an officer in the United States Military. Having lived in Colorado Springs for five years, it has become my dream to attend the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). All my efforts at school and in the community were done with the purpose of making myself a worthy candidate. An appointment to the Air Force Academy would be the greatest step toward fulfilling my life ambition of becoming an Air Force Officer and ultimately serving my country.
From kindergarten to senior year, I have been preparing to make a decision on where I want to go to college. This decision for me has finally been narrowed down. I want to go to school where I can meet great friends, get a phenomenal education, and make some great memories. The major I would like to pursue in is offered at a fair amount of colleges, but these two stood out more than the rest. Although Kent State is a great university, I feel that I have a better chance of succeeding at Ohio University with all of the different programs and organizations they offer to all of their students.
I want to be admitted into UW Oshkosh to help me have a better education and brighter future. My high school diploma is the foundation of my education but my college education will be the main structure for my future. UW Oshkosh will provide me with more than just a degree, it will provide me with an experience that I don’t think I can find in any other college. I know UW Oshkosh is the right college for me. I am a good student for UW Oshkosh because I plan to be an involved member of the Oshkosh campus community, I am a hard worker, and I know getting a degree is how I will obtain a career I want.
I’m interested in Purdue Honors College because the opportunities it offers would allow me to satiate my desire for: a challenging curriculum, knowledge, and the chance to obtain the tools necessary for me to continue learning, challenging myself, and succeeding well after I have left the campus behind for the next stage of my life. Furthermore, attending the Honors College provides me with a diversely brilliant and equally driven community to explore the major questions about the universe, it’s contents, and world changing ideas. Moreover, attending Purdue provides the chance to build interpersonal and intrapersonal skills that I’ll use to form relationships to last a lifetime. Also, the Honors College gives the impression that it is one of
All my life, I have pushed myself to become the best person I can be, in school, in my personal life, and in the various jobs I have held. However, since joining Alpha Phi, I have realized that becoming the best version of me is not the only thing I can do; I want and need to work with the people around me to help them reach their full potential as well. I want to be a leader in my career and my personal life, but I am still working on how to be a great leader. I have started taking on more leadership roles, becoming an officer in clubs I am involved in and becoming the Vice President of Campus Affairs in my chapter of Alpha Phi, but I believe I have not yet reached my full potential and I am an emerging leader. I would like to continue to
I have a warm heart when it comes to children, I’m the eldest of six children and I am usually the one who everyone comes to for comforting, understanding, and just to listen. When I was applying for college I immediately chose Human Development and Family Sciences with a focus on Family and Child Services; and I have not changed my mind yet. All of my classes and activities are so interesting to me and I love becoming more knowledgeable about the things that make a family a family and how they function. I am also a firm believer when it comes to, “Children are the future.” What we put into our children now is what will get from them later and I love the idea and everything that comes with it to make that happen in the best way possible.
I want to take advantage of the excellent engineering, and business programs at WSU. I made this decision due to my participation on the FIRST Robotics Team at my high school. My favorite memory was not driving the robot at regionals but was trying to figure out why our robot wouldn't work when we first wired it. I’m the team programmer and not many of my team members really understand what I do which makes it difficult for me to articulate what is wrong. The problem was, our two inductive proximity sensors which were working, were not sending a signal to the roborio, our controller.
I have always talked about my different perspectives and thoughts on college. Both of my parents have not been to college and I want to show them that it is possible and achievable to get the degrees that you desire. Any goals that you make for yourself can be achieved if you set your heart to it. I love to set goals for myself, it makes me push myself harder and go above and beyond. The goals that I hope to accomplish in the next six months is completing a season of water polo, be an officer of the FCA club, be on the swim team, and grow further on my praise and worship team at my church.
From a young age, I have known and understood the true importance of obtaining a college education and have strived to be the first in my family to attend college. Since then, PSJA ISD has helped me want to further my education after high school by integrating college curriculum into the classroom. The Ivy League Tour is yet another academic opportunity that I can benefit from. By being selected to participate in this Ivy League Tour, I would gain knowledge of the post high school opportunities that lay beyond the Rio Grande Valley, get a better understanding of the college environment, and garner more motivation to make my dream career a reality.
Based on my experiences, I consider the School of Business to be like a large family, as cheesy as that may sound. There are people all around you who want to see you succeed and are willing to lend a helping hand if need be. I could not have graduated if it wasn’t for the professors, faulty, and students that can be found throughout the school. They understand that we are looking for something better in life and that we are willing to work for it. I know I came to the school with only the idea of graduating with a degree
In my hands is my future When I start thinking about my future, I feel so scared because I realize that I’m not anymore a baby, now I’m kind of independent woman who needs to be able to distinguish what is good and what is bad because now my decisions affect my future. Outside of my bubble are tons of opportunities to make my future better. University offers an opportunity to shine, with this in mind I’d like to attend to the University ranking the #15 position in USA which is UC San Diego School of Medicine. I want to go to UC because I like the location, they offered more than 100 medical/health programs and I can get job fast with a lot benefits. UC is located in one of my favorite parts of this world which is La Jolla, California.
