I have been interested in the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire ever since I heard about the excellent achievements in their nursing program. I kept seeing nurses with an Eau Claire degree and a plethora of knowledge and experience that comes with it. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire caught my attention then but all of the different features of the college held my interest steadfast throughout my high school years. Every since I was a child, I knew that I wanted to spend my life taking care of people and helping them. As I started searching through lists of colleges I made sure I started at the best and when I looked into nursing program and my CNA teacher suggested this school for its nursing degree. So, I started visiting schools to see if my choices would be refined, this school made every quota on my list. With its beautiful grounds and welcoming students I felt at home when I visited. I have spent my entire life devouring any book within my grasp, trying to learn anything I can. At first, I would stay hidden behind those books, secure within their pages. However, I knew that I couldn’t continue successfully in life hiding behind the pages of a novel. So, freshman year of high school I joined Forensics and I continued for the rest of my high school career. It was there that I learned how to speak, to a group full of strangers no less, in a way that captures the audience’s attention and doesn’t let them go until I finished. With this newfound skill presentations, conversations with peers and authority, and general interactions were a breeze.
