Companies such as Apple have made a big impact on the world and our lives. Apple has affect our lives by changing the way we do things, for example, we started listening to music differently in 2010. Google also has an impact on our lives also, like the way use our emails which happen around 2009. General Electric provides electric and it has a big impact on how we use appliances.
Keira Williams is a leader for the program that connects people to study abroad opportunities and how to prepare for an interconnecting world. She experienced the effect of global education first hand, when she traveled out of the country, to China, for the first time. She believed the experience of being a “fish out of water” was a very grounding and humbling experience (Appendix A). Her trip led her to believe in two significant processes a person should learn when young and inexperienced. The idea is to appreciate both “confidence and humility” (Appendix A).
Young adults are the future. However, in an age of rapid progress and instant communication, the future is also global. Therefore, there has never been a more pressing need for young adults to understand the international world. Studying abroad is a unique opportunity given to young adults, especially college students, to expand their knowledge and understanding of the world around them in pursuit of progress. These young adults are the future of the global workforce.
My analytical skills and problem-solving abilities give me a unique advantage in the business field, and I am eager to develop and hone these skills here at Sewanee. Additionally, I am a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in the business world. I believe that businesses should always strive to create an environment that is respectful and welcoming to everyone, regardless of race, gender, and sexuality. Years after, my curiosity has driven me to pursue more information about finance, so I decided to pursue my education and studied financial management to receive my Bachelor of Business Administration at Brock University. However, it is still difficult to overstate the importance of finance in the current modern business world. Therefore, I have decided to pursue postgraduate studies in finance at the Goodman School of Business - Brock University to complement my undergraduate degree.

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act, abbreviated as the SOX Act of 2002 is a regulation which was passed by the Congress of the United States of America. The purpose of this legislation is to safeguard investors and others within the society from inaccuracies related to accounting, as well as unjustifiable procedures in businesses.

There are numerous motives for applying for any hundreds of master’s programs around the world. The reasons to choose this specific degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management is because of opportunities that will arise from attending and receiving a diploma. A Masters in Global Management (MGM), will emphasize features of my past education and experiences from work. Thus, when graduation arrives there will be no doubt that I will be prepared to handle the intense, but also a wonderful career in any field involving business on an international level. Since a with a BA in East Asia and BS in Sociology, I have already acquired knowledge in the political and social aspects of the business.
More than anything else, the guarantee of a world-class education is the most powerful argument any school can give its prospective applicants. In the technologically advanced era of today, the world has become smaller. People now have the ability to connect with someone halfway across the world with the simple keystroke. For this reason, I have decided that it is imperative to not only better myself as a member of a more culturally aware society, but also as a student. The Three Challenges The high-quality education offered in American colleges and universities is rated one of the best in the world. Consequently, the number of international students taking their studies in America has increased rapidly and changed the dynamic of the campuses and colleges in the entire country. To help the students adapt to the American Education System, universities have opened dedicated international student centers and have designated staff to work individually with students from other nations.
