Running Head: REPLY 2 1 Bullying Lucas, I enjoyed reading your post. I have worked two jobs, one was a proof worker at a bank and currently an aircraft maintainer in the United States Air Force. Naturally, we have tendencies to stick with what is familiar and cling to what makes us comfortable. According to Kinicki, Fugate (2016), employees that are bullied are likely to quit their job. For some reason, humans feel the need to stereotype and bully those that are different for them. Likewise, I had an altercation with one of my troops due to the fact he was belittling another airman. For that troop, it was easier for him to belittle instead of trying to understand the person he bullied. According to Leviticus 19:18, we are to love thy neighbor as thyself. In God’s eyes, we are to love one another as he has loved us. Diversity According to Fischer (n.d), absolute truths and values do exist and must be followed. As a military training instructor, I had the privilege to train young men and women from all over the world. According to Kinicki, Fugate (2016), diversity pertains to our individual differences that make us unique. Generally, the airman I trained put aside their differences and start working together immediately if they wanted to graduate from basic military training. Furthermore, I told them why it was important to work together, I rarely had a problem in my dorm. “There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification” (1 Corinthians 14:10, KJV).
