Apple went from being worth $5,309 in 1977 to $1.79 billion by the end of 1980, and Steve Jobs was worth $256 million at age twenty-five. Steve Jobs also had bad relationships with some of the early Apple employees. Despite Daniel Kottke’s involvement in Apple since the garage days, he was paid hourly and not salaried. Jobs refused to give Kottke any stock options ending their friendship.

At the age of 25, not really inventing the things you sale, he was worth 256 MILLION dollars! Wow!!! Now his employees hate him, he was losing friends from high school due to his personality, that’s a problem. I am still very shocked on how Steve Jobs really was.

One of the things that sets Jobs apart was his attention to detail, and this showed particularly in his handling of the Macintosh project. He insisted on beautiful, white packaging for the computers and an intuitive design. Jobs also drove his engineers crazy, insisting that even the parts on the inside of the computer had to be beautiful. Jobs believed that the Macintosh should be a piece of art, and the engineers, the artists. He had the signatures of every Macintosh engineer engraved on the inside of every Macintosh computer.

He was really detail oriented and that is what, until this day, set Apple products apart of the others. Cause after all, the beauty of the product is what sells the product. That I will give to him. He was a really good businessman to concentrate even on the little parts of his product.
