Steve Jobs Steve Jobs was amazing and he started one of the most successful companies ever. His company was very successful from the beginning and set the way for technology. Steve Jobs was amazingly smart, achieved many accomplishments, and he will always be remembered for his company. Steve Jobs had a very interesting childhood. Steve was born on February 24, 1955, in San Francisco. His adopted parents were Clara and Paul Jobs and his real parents were Jamie Schieble and Jon Jandai. He grew up in the famous Silicon Valley with his adopted sister Patty Jobs. While Steve was growing up he proved to be very smart. Some of Jobs’ products were the Apple I and Apple II computers. These were the first computer sold by Apple. The next product was the G8. It was the first flat screen computer ever! Steve also created the famous Macintosh. It was a really good all-round computer. It did not sell well because of the high price at the time. Steve later created the Apple iPod. This provided an amazing new way for people to listen to music on the go. It revolutionized the Walkman with a screen to choose what song you wanted to play, what song is playing, what albums you have, and how many songs you own. Steve Jobs also brought Apple back from the dead when it was not doing well. Those were some of Steve's career accomplishments. His major accomplishments included the iPhone. The iPhone was so big because it was the first touchscreen phone in 2007. That was a really big deal for the phone industry because no phone had ever had no physical keyboard or a full touchscreen. Steve also made the iTunes Store that was revolutionary for the music industry. This made buying and selling easier and it had a vast majority of music genres. Also, on May 25, 2010, Steve Jobs’ company passed Bill Gates company, Microsoft, as the most valuable technology company. Steve Jobs also had a wife and kids. His wife was Laurence Powell and they had three children together, one of which was Lisa. Sadly, Steve Jobs passed away on October 5, 2011, of pancreatic cancer.
