Strategic marketing planning is popularly used by companies which seek to create and implement effective and efficient strategies in the market. Lake (2016) believed that through a strategic marketing plan, a company becomes stable as it continues to operate. In line with this assertion, this paper will provide for a strategic business plan for box subscription services.

For the purposes of this paper, the chosen products are boxes. According to Helmrich (2016), boxes are used in the food, goods that are to be delivered, pet products, and even beauty products. As such, the box subscriptions services will take advantage of this and use the social media as one of its strategy in promoting the curated boxes. Specifically, Facebook Twitter and Instagram accounts will be used in advertising, direct marketing, and sales promotion of the products. This is very advantageous because according to Helmrich (2016), Facebook is now regarded as the biggest social network on the Web with 1.55 billion active users all over the world. On the other hand, Twitter and Instagram have 329 million and 400 million active users respectively (Helmrich, 2016). This box subscription boxes will also use promotional activities like discounting freebies. With these, many customers will be attracted to subscribe and receive monthly goodies in a box. Ultimately, the message I want to communicate to the customers is that the products I have chosen will be affordable but these come with quality. I can convey this message to them through personal selling and interaction I believe that it is important for customers to feel that they are valued.
