no fiber at all. We need fiber and vitamins but these are mostly found in foods like whole grains, vegetables, and fruits that are unprocessed. People eat foods that come in colorful packages, some even claim to be healthy but the reality is they don't truly benefit your body, yes it quells your hunger pains but it is not providing your body the nutrients it deserves. Food comes frozen, prepackaged, where it is made, the consumer does not know and usually doesn't ask. Whatever happened to home cooked meals, real pasta instead of Chef Boyardee, real meatloaf and mashed potatoes instead of TV dinners, or soup made from scratch instead of Cambells? These fake foods may seem healthy and it tastes decent but is America so used to these foods they don't even think about it being pre-made? Imagine how much better people might feel if they cut these genetically enhanced, full of additive, foods out of they're lives. But at the same time some consumers may not be aware of how harmful it is. Americans are somewhat informed on the problems these companies are causing but they may not know all the horrendous details just from word of mouth or common knowledge. When food looks wonderful in advertisements, tastes descent from the additives and is always available, you can see why it is hard to turn it down. The consumers get seduced by the idea of the burger they see on TV and they don't have to spend big bucks on it. They are not aware how affected the population is from these foods, it all seems a bit unjust, doesn't it?
