I want to teach because I desire to make an impact not only in the field of education, but also in a child’s life. Without an education our future generations will be going downhill as productive members of society, and that is why a teacher’s role in society is crucial. I want to teach because I want to revamp how everyone sees learning- I aspire to make learning exciting. As a teacher, I aim to be an inspiration for my students, but also for future teachers, for the reason that teachers have the capability of collectively, and individually, changing the world. Another reason I want to teach is because it is a way to further the gospel both here in America and elsewhere. One way to further the gospel as a teacher is by showing Christ’s love to each student, and fellow teachers, through our service, words, and actions. “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." I admire my mother as a teacher because despite not having a degree in teaching, she displayed numerable qualities that a teacher should have. My mother catered to my learning style, she constantly encouraged me to do my best, in addition to pushing me to endeavor to figure the information out for myself before she stepped in. Many of these methods that my mother used to teach me, I will be using to teach my students. Similar to my mother, I would like to challenge my students to meet their fullest
