I became an educator to make an impact and open up children’s eyes to all possibilities that are out there. Teaching is an incredible profession. Each day is an opportunity to mold minds and stimulate creativity. When students achieve a simple or complex task, I feel it’s’ an experience for me to be a part of their success. I will continue to teach as a career.
A Lot of schools need more teachers’. The world needs teachers. Being a teacher will help students become more successful in their education. That 's why I want to become a teacher so I can help students understand the concepts of learning different material. That 's why it takes time and effort to finish a task from where you start.
Often people are drawn away from this rewarding career because of the hard work and little pay they receive for the work they do. According to the CTC or also known as the California commission on Teacher Credentialing there are roughly 10,000 un-occupied teaching positions across the country. This could result in there being a teacher shortage and with the lack of teachers in school this will only cause more problems for the teachers already at school. Leading to them getting more work or larger class sizes causing more responsibility ,with little to no raise or extra
Education is one of the most important careers in our world today. Without good educators, our society would not be as advanced as it is. Teachers help to create the great minds that improve our world and make it a better place to live. This is why I chose to be a teacher. I want a part in making the world a better place one child at a time.
If a teacher doesn’t like spending over 8 hours a day with bad kids, they can at least be comforted by their well-paying and secure job. Teachers have very a little amount of work that they have to stay after school for or take home. The occasional test or homework that teachers have to grade is the only thing that they need to take home, and that’s very rare. Also, teachers almost never have to stay after school to help students after class or be a supervisor for kids that owe detentions; the principles do that job. But, because they don’t have much work to do after school, they are always enthusiastic and ready to teach.
When I was younger I always wanted to teach. I would play teacher with my younger brother and cousin in my mother’s den. I would give each one of them a piece of paper and a pencil and I would be the teacher. I chose to be a teacher because I enjoy helping children learn, I know I can make a difference in a child's life. I want to be a positive influence in their life both classroom and in the real world.
Reflecting on my educational and practical experiences, I appreciate the infinite influence that teachers have on children. I realise that children will take the skills and knowledge learnt in the classroom and use it throughout their lives. I know a teacher has to deal with many daily pressures and challenges, in the classroom. However, I feel I require the skills needed to deal with these challenges. As a teacher I hope not only to be an educator but a positive role model, whom the children can look up to and trust.
Time management is another necessity when becoming a teacher as you need to be able to be able to balance multiple areas of schooling, for example; preparing class activities for the day and marking assignments, you have to balance between the two. There are two more great qualities needed in teaching, they include; to be outgoing and energetic. Since a teacher wants the students to be engaged with what they are learning, teachers constantly need ways to provide activities, readings, and other ways which help children learn, this relies on energy to keep going and providing the best education the children can get. Since teaching requires interaction between people, it also “draws on our capacities to engage 'in meaningful interactions; to think and reason and to encourage thinking and reasoning, to create and relate, and to encourage creativity” (Gibbs, Colin 2006). All of these interactions are created through relationships between people such as students, colleagues, parents, families, and
Teaching is something that no one should do if they do not have the heart to do it. Anybody can teach, but it takes a special person to be at teacher. An instructor have to be kind and patient because everyone do not learn at the same pace. They also have to be caring because if a student sees that the educator do not care about them, they are less likely to respect them. Teachers are the leaders of the classroom and they have to set good examples so that the students will have something positive to follow.
When I was younger, I thought that teaching was something I could never see myself doing. The idea of dealing with so many different personalities and attitudes wasn’t exactly my cup of tea. Like many things, when I turned older, my thoughts changed. I turned to love the idea of helping and leading others. I had never been hit harder than when I reached high school.
I believe that teaching is the most rewarding profession in the world. Teachers have a unique opportunity to positively impact an individual’s life each day. My passion for teaching was ignited within me during secondary school when I began to appreciate the passion and determination my teachers had, and the lengths they would go to ensure my success. This experience had a profound impact on me and manifested a desire to provide this positive experience for others.
Ever since I was a little kid, I have wanted to teach. Every instructor I have had since kindergarten either inspired me to follow their direction, or pushed me to not be a “bad” teacher like them. As I grew older, I realized my preferred profession stemmed from a love a books and a thirst for knowledge. I loved learning, and everything, I learned, I wanted to share with others. People, including close family and friends, as well as semi- strangers would tell me I would make an excellent teacher.
Therefore, in my opinion, a teacher has one of the most difficult and important jobs available. As challenging as this profession is, I still made the choice to pursue it because I recognize its significance
Why do people want to become teachers? There is low pay, long hours, little benefits, students have more rights than teachers. I want to be a teacher because I want to make a difference and change every child’s heart that I come into contact with. Teaching is one of those jobs where you get to be an undercover angel, because you are able to effect so many different lives by caring and teaching. You matter not only to one person in an office, but for 18-20 kids.
Being a teacher is a journey that has much to do with learning about yourself and being aware that what happens in your classroom reflects only on how are you with yourself. Teachers are not conscious that they project into students, and that affects how things go in the classroom. I believe the first characteristic of a good teacher is that he/ she is always willing to analyze his/her teaching performance. Second the teacher is humble enough to receive input about the development and application of techniques, learning from it and improving.
