When interviewing a leader in an organization to discover their leadership style one must ask critical questions. I had the opportunity to interview Neetu Malik who is a Team leader at Accenture working for State Farm. In this interview, we discussed her leadership style, motivational thinking, and conflict resolving approach and goal setting strategy. …show more content…

She thinks leadership is helping other people to rise to their full potential while accomplishing the goals of the organization. She follows democratic leadership style and believes in “lead by example”. Meeting expectations and delegating work is sometimes difficult being a leader. According to Neetu, there is a sense of satisfaction to have people coming to her for advice and valuing her opinion, she feels driven to motivate others. For monitoring individual performance, she prefers, one on one discussions with each member to track the progress and encouraging proactive participation within the team.
