The video that I have analyzed is “the Script-The man can’t be moved by an Irish rock band. Which was directed by Marc klasfeld and released on 25 July 2008. This textual analysis focuses on the codes and conventions of the man in the video and also the general aspects of a music video recording to genre typicality. Basically, the genre conventions are all the elements from archetypal characters. The genre that I have noticed and identified is pop. In the music video the scenes include narrative and other performance based conventions, the actual narrative part of the video was when the artist wore casual clothes which perfectly matched with the genre.
