In the book The great Gatsby, it tells a story about how a nameless man earn all the money by himself and trying to reach a girl who he fell in love before; but after all the trying, he lost his girl again. This story is a great example for people who want to start by himself and try to reach the top of the world. No matter how hard you try, the american dream won’t come to you. The illusion might appear a short time, but in this world full of illusion, you finally won’t get anything. Gatsby tried, and he succeed- for a few day. Then he died. She really loves him, but after a few days of gather around, gatsby has to leave and promise he will com back. Daisy was waiting and waiting, then she want a person to love her; not through those letters, but face to face. She found Tom, who is a wealthy and strong man; as a result, she married him. That day on her marriage, Gatsby sent Daisy a letter said wait for him, then Daisy all the sudden changed her mind. “Take them’ down stairs and give them back to whoever they belong to, and tell them all that Daisy has changed her mine, Daisy has changed her mine.” A day later, Daisy married Tom and went out for a honeymoon for three month. A few years later, Daisy met her cousin and he invited her to go to his house for some tea. She went there, and Gatsby was there as well. Daisy doesn’t care about Tom anymore and enjoyed the time with Gatsby. She fell in love with Gatsby again. “ You looks so cool, you always looks so cool.” She said. It’s so impressive that how fast can Daisy fell in love with someone. The uncertainty is the most significant characteristic that Daisy has.
