The Hunting Ground is a documentary film that documented sexually assault cases on college campuses in the United States. Schools such as Harvard University, Princeton University, and the University of North Carolina have high reports of sexual assaults on their campus but there was not been any restitution for victims. Many victim’s cases are neglected and when they are entertained the perpetrator is never prosecuted. These perpetrators are often repeat offenders and continue a cycle of sexual assault on their campus. The creators of this movie allow the viewer to see how college administrators fail to deal with these reports appropriately. The film focuses on Annie Clark and Andrea Pino, who were two former students of the University of North Carolina and has been sexually assaulted on campus. During the documentary, former administrators discuss how they are encouraged to pretend like rape does not happen on these campuses. The administrators are told to pretend like they were not informed about the sexual assault. This caused an underreported number of rapes that occurred when schools such as the University of North Carolina already had over 100 reported cases. These schools continue to let offenders off the hook by giving them a “slap on the wrist” punishments. Some schools allow their perpetrators pay a $25 dollar fine while others require their offenders to volunteer at a rape crisis center. These perpetrators rarely get convicted for their crimes. At one school, a group of men started a chant at a primarily girls dorm stating, “NO MEANS YES, AND YES MEANS
