Owning guns or banning them is a highly controversial topic in the United States today. Everytime, there is a mass shooting or violence commited the issue resurfaces. The real question is should the government make strict gun control laws and legislations? Would it help to decrease the crime rate or will it be the opposite effect? The nation is divided on this issue, some believe there should be bans on guns some think there shouldn't be any.
In total American tax payers are paying twohundred and twenty nine billion annualy just to pay for gun violence related costs. This as you can imagine this has severe implications on the countrys economie, America is already sruggling with poverty and people out of work on a massive scale and the money that is being drawn from tax to pay for gun related incidents would be better spent on the sixteen percent of Americans living in
There have been 12,932 gun related deaths this year according to the gun violence archive. Guns laws need to be changed because it is extremely easy to get firearms. America also need gun control because there have been many mass shootings. These mass shootings lead to fear and then everyone will be too scared to leave their house, or go to public places. It is also important because all of the victims of these mass shootings have been completely innocent civilians.
I agree gun laws should be strict. Especially with everything going on in the news every year let alone every year with indecent happening to innocent people. It is just very sad to see people use guns for the wrong uses. Like I said I absolutely agree and hope that one day the government does make better laws for guns.

So in light of the most recent school shooting that took 17 lives in Florida many ask, should the government put stricter laws on guns? The country is divided with some wanting to reevaluate our gun control laws and either ban or add additional regulations to the purchase of guns.
