If you were born in the nineties you are still awesome. The new generation is not interested in outdoor fun anymore. Children today are different from the previous generation because they indulge their time to technology devices. The excitement of playing a new game system makes a kid not want to stop playing. The adrenaline and energy of every child who loves to spend time with their devices are unstoppable. Granted, technology is becoming part of everyone’s daily life, but parents should be responsible for monitoring their children’s use of technology to avoid health issues. Parents believe that these devices have educational benefits, but it can have a long-term health effect. Most children who have poor sleep cycle probably binge-watch their favorite TV show before bedtime. Bing watching becomes a habit after a while and it could start to affect a child daily routine. Those children with poor sleep cycle are most likely to suffer from childhood obesity. Obesity is not only caused by sugar and calorie intake but how the body process different chemicals. Children are supposed to have at least 8 hours of sleep every night if their body is not rested it won 't function well. This chemical that the body naturally produces is insulin, if the body slows the process of insulin level it could cause someone to faint. Online video games and chatrooms and Facebook is the most popular use of technology device today. I understand that children could possibly have poor sleep cycle from doing homework and project because of finals but it’s only for a short period of time. Parents need to monitor their children’s technology use. Children need to understand that overuse of technology is slowly affecting their health but not drastically, they just need to be educated about the negative effects of
