On what grounds should abortion be considered as morally right?
In my essay I will talk about why society should stop discriminating and categorizing having an abortion as immoral and unjust. I will also give valid reason as to why having an abortion is not immoral. I will also address the people who consider themselves as “prolife” I will not only question believes but I will give valid reasons as to why having an abortion is really not that bad. Some of their believes: that, if a woman has an abortion, she is killing her child and is committing an act of murder. In today’s society an abortion is view by many religious and non-religious leaders and society as unethical and immoral .The question that I want to ask society today is what would you do if you were a 16 year old girl who had sex for the first time got asexually transmitted disease and later found out that you are pregnant would you still have that child know that child will born with a sexually transmitted disease? I stand here today not to question or judge anyone base on believes, Instead I am here as a voice for both the young girls and young women who has been impregnated because they were rapped. Many of would say that a child is a blessing not a curse so they have no right to take that child’s life, but how do you live with a child that will be a constant reminder that you were rapped. Studies has shown that females who have been impregnated by the nature of being rapped tend to neglect and abuse their child, so will society just sit back and say “it is what it is” she should still bring that child into this world when even though she might beat the child to death because having that child is a day to day reminder of her rapist. If society can live with her beating the child to death I do not see why they consider her having an abortion immoral and unjust when either the child is still going to be
