How do pilots change the world? Air force pilots are needed for a lot of things for example, if there’s a massive hurricane that has occurred, the Red Cross or fast responders will call in the Air Force pilots so that they can evacuate the people affected by the disaster. If it wasn’t for the pilots the people would eventually die of hypothermia or drowning. In a way, Air Force pilots provide a peace of mind knowing that you will not have to worry if help will come or not. Air force pilots also provide protection by protecting the national air space. Let’s say if there is a plane that has entered the U.S without identifying itself the air traffic controller(s) send fighter pilots to see what the intention of that flight is. University of North Dakota is located in Grand Forks. It is a public institution in the country. The degrees offered in this university is bachelors, masters and doctorate. A graduate in state pays $7531 per year. I am interested in this college because it seems affordable and it’s much cheaper than other colleges that offer the same degree. Another school that offers the same degree is Utah State University; its located in Logan. It’s a public university and they offer the same degree as university of North Dakota. An out of state student pays $15860 a year, while an in-state student pays $5560. What looks like a better option is University of North Dakota, due to the cost of attendance it is really low and affordable compared to Utah State University. A pilot has additional required experiences such as reaching certain amount of hours, be able to land on a ship at night and during day time, the pilot is also required to have the ability to fly at night.
