It was new for since certain things that are done differently in long term care and retail pharmacy. For instance the filling style, in retails in was tablets were packed in a vial however in long term care unless directions specifically states we will in optic or blister pack for however many days. Working made me an independent person trying to focus more on my goals. I made it through 2 years and 2 months and I picked up a lot of stuff in between. From getting this job I knew I was going to do something in health science I wasn 't sure what exactly I want to be.
Brieanna: What does a typical day at work look like for you? Michelle: First thing in the morning I have assessments, than I pass out morning meds. I have hourly rounds, chartting all day, med passes all day, usually a discharge and an admission, make sure the patients go to the bathroom regularly and I treat symptoms as they arrive. Brieanna: What are the best and worst parts of your job? Michelle: The worst parts of my job are the aggressive patients, when the patients treat the hospital like it is a hotel, and the patients who do it to themselves and aren 't willing to change.

Working on a farm, getting hardly any sleep is probably not the job you would want. Well if you think about it, this job was what we called slavery. We have men getting up in the morning to go get work done outside on the farm. Women in the kitchen, cleaning and cooking. These human beings got treated horribly and there was nothing anyone could do about it.
